जेल की दीवारों के ऊपर मंडराने वाले संदिग्ध ड्रोन अब सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के निशाने पर होंगे। छत्तीसगढ़ शासन के निर्देशानुसार, जिला जेल बलौदाबाजार-भाटापारा की सुरक्षा को अभेद्य बनाने के लिए जेल परिसर और उसके आसपास के 500 मीटर के दायरे को तत्काल प्रभाव से ‘नो ड्रोन फ्लाइंग ज़ोन’ घोषित कर दिया गया है।
क्यों लिया गया यह कड़ा फैसला?
जेल प्रशासन को अंदेशा है कि असामाजिक तत्व आधुनिक तकनीक (ड्रोन) का सहारा लेकर जेल की ऊंची दीवारों के पार प्रतिबंधित सामग्री या हथियार पहुंचा सकते हैं। जेल की भौगोलिक संवेदनशीलता को देखते हुए यह कदम उठाना अनिवार्य हो गया था:
उत्तर में: श्मशान घाट
पूर्व में: डी.के. कॉलेज एवं स्टेडियम
दक्षिण में: सिंचाई कॉलोनी
पश्चिम में: जेल कॉलोनी एवं कृष्णायन कॉलोनी
इन रिहायशी और सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रों की निकटता का फायदा उठाकर कोई भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि जेल की आंतरिक सुरक्षा में सेंध लगा सकती है।
नियमों का उल्लंघन पड़ेगा भारी
महानिदेशक (जेल एवं सुधारात्मक सेवाएं) के आदेशानुसार, अब इस निर्धारित 500 मीटर के दायरे में किसी भी प्रकार के निजी या व्यावसायिक ड्रोन उड़ाना पूरी तरह प्रतिबंधित होगा।
मुख्य उद्देश्य: जेल की कानून व्यवस्था को बनाए रखना और किसी भी संभावित अप्रिय घटना को जीरो टॉलरेंस की नीति के साथ रोकना।
प्रशासन की अपील:
नागरिकों और ड्रोन ऑपरेटरों को सूचित किया जाता है कि वे सुरक्षा नियमों का पालन करें। प्रतिबंध के बावजूद ड्रोन उड़ाते पाए जाने पर कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी और उपकरण को जब्त कर लिया जाएगा।
