Four Senior IPS Officers empanelled as DGP : Report Samir Gupta, District Head — Four Senior IPS Officers from Punjab have been empanelled by the Central Government for appointment to the post of Director General of Police or equivalent rank.
The selected officers from the Punjab cadre include Anita Punj, A.S.Rai, P.K. Sinha and S.Srivastava all from 1984 batch. They are among total of 35 IPS Officers across the country who have been cleared the elevation to this prestigious position.
