Punjab News : Ludhiana Special — Report Samir Gupta, District Head: Despite steep rise in demand of electricity amid ongoing paddy season in Punjab, District Ludhiana has recorded a sharp fall in power theft cases, its nearly a 52% decline compared to last year.
Between April – June this year the PSPCL detected around 3739 theft cases, a steep drop from 7723 cases recorded during the same period in 2024. Overall good positive efforts by Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd.
