K.S. Chahal new DIG, Patiala Range : Report Samir Gupta, District Chief — Kuldeep Singh Chahal appointed new Deputy Inspector General of Police, Patiala Range. A 2009 batch IPS officer, Chahal has remained the Commissioner of Police at Jalandhar and Ludhiana. He also served as SSP in Chandigarh. Born in Jind, Haryana — Chahal holds master’s degree from PU. He had joined Chandigarh Police as an ASI in 2005 and later cleared IPS and allotted the Punjab cadre.
