IPS officer resigns, second in two months — Report Samir Gupta, City Chief: Shivdeep W. Lande, Inspector General of police Purnia Range Bihar resigned from the elite IPS and shared the information on social media. In his post he said ” I have resigned from Indian police service but will remain in Bihar as it is my Karambhoomi. Another IPS officer Kamya Mishra ( 2019 batch) posted as SP Darbhanga( Bihar )has also resigned from service citing personal reasons. Previously she was allotted Himachal Pradesh cadre but later after marriage shifted to Bihar cadre. It is noticeable that Kamya Mishra’s husband is also IPS officer and presently posted in Muzaffarpur Bihar.
